Wild Prairie Tea House was born from a story of resilience, healing, and the courage to begin again.

Founded by Angela Mendoza, this space reflects a deeply personal journey shaped by hardship, faith, rebuilding, and the quiet beauty of finding your way forward. Through life’s changing seasons, Angela came to understand the value of small comforts, meaningful connections, and the kind of spaces that make people feel at home. Tea became one of those comforts.

Inspired by the wide-open beauty of Eastern Montana, Wild Prairie Tea House was created as a place where people can slow down, breathe a little deeper, and find a moment of peace in the middle of everyday life.

Angela’s husband, Darryl Mendoza, a proud U.S. Navy veteran, has been a steady source of strength, encouragement, and support throughout the journey. His unwavering belief in the dream behind Wild Prairie Tea House has been part of the heart that helped bring it to life.

Every tea in the shop reflects a piece of that story—comforting, grounded, and inspired by place. From peaceful herbal blends to bold black teas and prairie-inspired favorites, each cup is meant to offer more than flavor. It’s meant to offer a feeling.
